Anna & Nick

Stylish Gas Street Church Wedding in Birmingham

Anyone who planned their wedding in 2020 knows how challenging it has been! Postponing the dates only to find out that the new date falls under yet another lockdown. No wonder that a lot of the couples decided to push their celebration to 2021 or even 2022. A stunning couple Anna and Nick on the other hand firmly decided to tie the knot in 2020 changing their celebratory plans according to the new reality. Their wedding was very intimate yet incredibly thought through and elegant.

The ceremony was held at Gas Street Church in Birmingham with a pastor who is also the couple’s good friend. The immediate family and close friends all wore emerald green face masks which were offered to them at the entrance. The Bridesmaids (who are also Bride’s sisters) were dressed in tasteful dark green slip dresses and the Bride wore a wonderful slip gown with a trail and a long veil.

After the ceremony and some photos on famous Gas Street Canalside Walk the Newlyweds and the guests made their way to Hotel du Vin & Bistro to celebrate. Birmingham city centre looked absolutely magical in the sunset light so the couple and I decided to take some more beautiful portraits.

A couple photoshoot can really add that extra something to the wedding photography and become a real cherry on top like it did for the amazing and extraordinary wedding day of Anna and Nick.
