Hot August Wedding at Gorse Hill Hotel

A sweet couple Songy and Seok had their beautiful wedding in Surrey on a warm Summer day. They wanted to have a relaxed celebration where everyone could have fun and enjoy themselves. The approach to the wedding photography was very similar - the couple preferred a natural and unstrained style that would portray the light and fun atmosphere they created. They booked a lovely venue with the lavish green surroundings - Gorse Hill Hotel - where the guests could fully take advantage of the nice weather. 

The wedding preparations were a bit unconventional - the Bride and the Groom were getting ready together. Songy chose a gorgeous lace gown with a full skirt as her wedding dress and a stunning long veil, Seok looked smart in his black tuxedo and a bow-tie. The colour scheme of the decorations was very delicate and refreshing for the hot Summer - white, pale blue and mint.

 

The ceremony took place in the main room of the Gorse Hill mansion and the radiant couple walked down the aisle holding hands. After the ceremony and some group photos outside, the Newlyweds and their guests were enjoying cold drinks and the sunshine before heading back inside for the wedding breakfast. Following the speeches and a last course I took Songy and Seok outside again for the romantic wedding photoshoot. The sun has just begun to set and the sky was turning a beautiful golden colour - the best time for the portraits!

 

While the wedding party was helping themselves to more drinks and nibbles the Bride has changed into her evening outfit - a glamorous golden column dress. The guests have happily filled the floor after the couple's first dance and the party went on until midnight. This Surrey wedding turned out exactly the way it was planned - happy, vivid, light-hearted and fun!
